Special Meeting Announcement
 
Dakota Area Community School Board of Directors
 
 
 
 
The Dakota Area Community School Board of Directors has scheduled a special meeting for Monday, June 17, 2013 starting at 5:30 pm in the grades 5-6 classroom.
 
A policy review session will be held in the same location starting 30 minutes prior to the start of the special meeting.
 
The purpose of this special meeting is to conduct the regular business of the board.

DACS is accepting enrollment applications for the 2013-2014 school year.



DACS is the ONLY Minnesota school in the area with all day every day Kindergarten and an all day every day 4 year-old Kindergarten program!

Dakota Area Community School (DACS) is a Minnesota charter school serving children from age 33 months through grade 5. Next year we hope to be able to serve students in grade 6! DACS is a great place to focus on elementary life sciences. And we will. Watch for more as we complete our move to a STEM curriculum next year.

We always happy to talk with families about our preschool, 4k, and KG-6 elementary programs at any time.

Dakota Summer Kid Kare

Monday—Friday

7:15 a.m.— 5:30 p.m.

Begins on June 3rd and ends August 23rd

The price is only $3.25 per hour (maximum $22/day).

The price for each additional child is $3.00 per hour (maximum $20/day).

Drop-ins are accepted with a 24 hour advance notice.

 

Summer will be here before you know it!  Do you have a plan for your child this summer? Dakota Area Community School can help you with our Dakota Summer Kid Kare program for children aged 33 months (potty trained) through age 10 years.

 

Daily activities include computer time, outside games, reading activities, math activities, gym time, arts and crafts, and free play.  We also plan occasional field trips.  A nominal activity fee to help cover these activity costs may be asked for at the time of the activity.

 

A morning snack, afternoon snack, and milk will be provided.  We ask that you send a lunch with your child every day.  Your child’s lunch can be stored in a refrigerator.
